Privacy Notice summary
NatWest Markets takes privacy and the protection of personal information seriously. We are a member of the NatWest Group.
We encourage you to read our Privacy Notice which provides a summary of why and how we process personal information relating to our customers. It also provides more information about the privacy rights available to individuals and how these can be exercised.
What information do we use and where do we get it from?
We process various categories of customer-related personal information, such as contact details and ‘Know Your Customer’ details that we need to collect about key individuals that are connected to our customers.
Most of your information will have been either provided by you, your employer or a third party acting on your behalf (your agent), or through your use of our products, services and technology.
Where permitted by law, we may process information about criminal convictions or offences and alleged offences for specific and limited activities and purposes, such as to perform checks to prevent and detect crime, to comply with laws relating to money laundering, fraud, terrorist financing, bribery and corruption, and for international sanctions.

What information rights do you have?
You may have certain rights under data protection laws regarding the personal information we hold and use about you. For more information about your rights, please see Section 9 of our Privacy Notice.
If you wish to raise a privacy complaint or have an enquiry about our processing of your personal information, you can contact the NatWest Markets Privacy Officer or the NatWest Markets N.V. Data Protection Officer.

How do we and other NatWest Group companies use your information?
We will only use and share your information where it is necessary for us to lawfully carry out our business activities. Your information may be shared with and processed by other NatWest Group companies (“Affiliates”).

Do we share your information outside the NatWest Group?
We keep your information confidential and will only share your information outside the NatWest Group in accordance with our Privacy Notice. This may include sharing with third parties such as our service providers, law enforcement agencies or regulators.

Do we transfer your information internationally?
We may transfer your information to organizations in other countries (including to other NatWest Group companies) provided that certain safeguards are applied

How long do we keep your information?
We don’t keep your information for longer than we need to. We normally keep your personal information for a defined period after your relationship with us, unless we are required to keep it for longer (for example due to a court order or an investigation by law enforcement agencies or our regulators).
