Congratulations to our Private Placements team for being named GlobalCapital’s ‘Best Agent of International US Private Placements’ for the second consecutive year. The team received this accolade as part of the ‘Private Debt’ category of GlobalCapital’s Syndicated Loan, Leveraged Finance and Private Debt Awards.
Robert Busby, Head of Private Placements, NatWest Markets, said: “We are very pleased to have received this award for the second year in a row, which is a great endorsement of the team’s efforts during one of the most volatile years we’ve seen in financial markets since 2009. Our longstanding and strong relationships with investors were key to providing global distribution capabilities to our core client base for new issues, while also helping customers impacted by the pandemic to seek flexibility from investors to recover.”
The Private Debt Awards recognises the best deals, investment banks, investors and law firms for their accomplishments and impressive service to the market. The accolades are based on data analysis, feedback from market participants and a breakdown of their performance in 2020.
“I’m absolutely delighted to see the bank recognised for another outstanding year of delivering for our customers. Being able to provide best in class capital markets advice and market access is hugely important to us, so to be externally recognised is really pleasing. We’re focused on building this out through 2021 to make sure we continue delivering the best outcomes for our customers,” commented Andrew Blincoe, Head of Large Corporates and Institutions, NatWest.
Carla Floyd, Head of Debt & Financing Solutions, NatWest, added to this sentiment: “It is fantastic to see the team recognised once again for providing customers with innovative and market leading Private Placement origination and execution. Whether it be supporting customers heavily impacted by COVID-19 or delivering new sustainability-linked financing, the team has used its wealth of experience to navigate these unprecedented times. To be recognised for that achievement is so pleasing.”
